Abstract

In the current context of the single Health System the Family Health Program is the main strategy of reorganisation of the model of health care in Brazil and has been the main inductor of primary care. However, the multidisciplinary actions are complex and compromise the quality of care provided to the population, either by as the organization of services, either by barriers coming of professional education. Are discussed in this article frequent problems in discussions about interdisciplinarity in professional action in family health Program. Presents over this work the theoretical perspectives that attempt to elucidate the conjunction of knowledges and conflicts that characterise the production of health care in preventive care, still with flexener’s model, individualized professional practices far larger clinic and the principle of integrality.
