Abstract

The article is focused on a work developed through a partnership between NGO Redecriar and the University Ritter dos Reis. The main objective was to meet the demands of the community located in the Uniritter´s surroundings, linking the knowledge produced by different areas. The point of convergence is evident in the issue of the preservation of the natural environment as an exercise of citizenship. The impact of the work is not restricted to the social and environmental content given to children and adolescents attended, but it was constituted as a practical experience of scholars from the Program “Urban Communities” that end up multiplicating the proposal experienced by them in 2008.
