Ética e Responsabilidade Social: uma exigência moral

Abstract

To give a title of Corporate Social Responsibility or Managerial Social Responsibility, the subject receives nowadays a special attention. It is the topic of studies and it can to be considered as the issue of local and global interest. Then the concern of studying this theme demands an effort about the basis of the social responsibility. This is the interest focus of this work, with the intention the put face to face two theoretical perspectives: the Mill Utilitarism and Kant’ definition. Rather than emphasize the foundations of both theories, there are limits in the Utilitarism that transform the responsibility intosomething advisable, while in the Kant’s perspective the responsibility represents a moral obligation.
