Professional ethics: a constant tension between the ethics of responsibility and the ethics of conviction

Abstract

Ethics and professional practice are two aspects that are not always way together. In fact, the tension isn’t summarized to the professional purposes, but also of the legitimation and social recognize. This paper tries to show aspects of this question based on two authors: Weber and Mounier, the aim is to establish the connection between responsibility and conviction, these aspects are very important to the professional ethics.
