Educacional policies and the evaluative state - a conflictive relationship

This article describes a research carried out with the aim of measuring the use of the concept of Evaluator State considering the scientific outputs of political science, education, social work and sociology. The impact of the concept on political science, social work and sociology was null or of little relevance, while the impact on education was multiple and varied, including theses, dissertations and scientific articles. Nonetheless, the concept of Evaluator State have not yet favored researches that aggregate empirical evidence aiming to measure the effective transformation of the State role in the education arena.
