Los “clásicos” en Trabajo Social. La formación en Uruguay

Resumo

En las diferentes disciplinas de las ciencias sociales los autores y textos clásicos son fácilmente identificados por sus miembros, cuestión que no está clara en el Trabajo Social, es por ello que el presente trabajo tiene por objetivo aportar al debate sobre cuáles son considerados los textos clásicos de la profesión, para ello se retoman dos perspectivas al interior de las ciencias,  paradigma y campo científico, y se afirma que los clásicos no son los textos que poseen determinadas características, sino que son los que se enseñan en las instituciones universitarias a los futuros profesionales, en función de ello, se analizan distintos programas de la licenciatura en Trabajo Social de Uruguay de la Universidad de la República.

In the different disciplines of the social sciences the authors and classical texts are easily identified by their members, an issue that is not clear in the Social Work, that is why the present work aims to contribute to the debate on what are considered classical texts of the profession, for this two perspectives are retaken within the sciences, paradigm and scientific field, and it is affirmed that the classics are not the texts that have certain characteristics, but are the ones that are taught in the university institutions to the future professionals, depending on this, different programs of the degree in Social Work of Uruguay of the University of the Republic are analyzed.
